Ola Idris Al, Community and Engagement Manager at the University of Waterloo's Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Anti-racism joins us to talk about the BLACK@WATERLOO: BLACK FILM FESTIVAL, a celebration of storytelling for and by Black creatives. Brand new to the community, the festival showcases the diversity and creativity of Black filmmaking, from both political and musical documentaries to the telling of real Black Canadian narratives.
